“The creation of ‘Fictitious book’ begins in a ‘fictional city’ a body of works made from books from my own personal collection. This city was constructed across a floor. Using my books to build towers and skyscrapers, walls courtyards, avenues and discreet nooks and passages, using book cover design to imitate text and image found in billboards. Contrast, textures and directional lighting adds atmosphere. Basically, construct equivalents for the visual fabric associated with a factual city.”
